After years of avoiding questions on whether they were a couple, they have started answering questions on rumoured wedding plans, and even appeared at sports game with their arms around each other.
And this weekend the tennis star and the singer were seen relaxing on a boat near their home in Miami.
Cute couple: Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova were spotted relaxing on a boat in Florida
The couple have been together since meeting on the set of his music video Escape in 2002, but typically avoided romantic displays in front of photographers.
In a rare show of togetherness, the pair cuddled and kissed as they floated near the dock.
Anna, 29, looked like she was making the most of the 30 degree Florida weather in a striped singlet and white shorts, and added daisies to her hair, which was pulled up in bunches. She was sporting some girly plasters on her back and shoulders.
Loved up: The couple, who have been together eight years, are rarely photographed together
Her 35-year-old Spanish boyfriend wasn't feeling the warmth, and opted for a long-sleeved shirt, with knee-length army print shorts and a bandanna.
The Hero singer leaned into the gorgeous Russian sports star, who draped her arm around his shoulders.
His affectionate display contrasts with Iglesias' claims that despite the emotional lyrics in his love songs, he is actually 'not really romantic.'
Private: The pair only recently began acknowledging their relationship after years of remaining tight-lipped on the subject
'How would I rate myself as a boyfriend? Not anything. I'm actually difficult and moody at times,' he told the Times of India this week. 'I'm not the easiest person in the world and I need moments when I'm completely by myself for my work.
'I'm not really romantic. And I know that doesn't go with what I write, but it's like asking a comedian if they're always joking around when they're at home.
'Usually it's the opposite. My way is just going to the movies and respecting that person by having fun with her.'
Ouch: Tennis star Anna sported some girly pink plasters on her back
Wedding rumours began circulating when Anna was pictured with a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger, but the singer says walking down the aisle is not on his To Do list:
'Oh no. I don't think it's the right thing to do. A lot of people think that I'm against marriage, but you can be happy with someone without being married.'
Miss Kournikova answered similarly when she appeared on Graham Norton's show in June.
No marriage: The couple live together in Miami. They have dismissed rumours of a wedding, with Anna asking Graham Norton in June, 'What's the point?'
Asked by the host if they were planning to wed, she said 'Not really, no. We're fine. What's the point if you're happy anyway? Being eight years down the line it's more than some married couples now.'
Perhaps the couple is taking their cue from Enrique's famous father Julio, who wed his girlfriend of twenty years, Miranda Rijnsburger, in an intimate ceremony in Marbella on August 24.
Enrique's bilingual album Euphoria was released in July and has so far sold over one million copies.
